1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using ogu (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the App. The App is developed and operated by an individual developer ("we," "us").
2. Who can use ogu
You must be at least 13 years old to use ogu. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide when creating an account is accurate.
3. Your account
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at ogu.support@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
When using ogu, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Send illegal, obscene, or sexually exploitative content, including anything involving minors
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious content (including malware or phishing attempts)
- Attempt to access another user's account or interfere with the App's normal operation
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the messages, photos, and other content you send through ogu ("User Content"). By sending User Content through the App, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App to you and the people you're messaging with. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it for advertising.
6. Third-party services
ogu relies on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase for data storage and a push notification service, to operate. Your use of the App is also subject to the availability and terms of these providers, which are outside our direct control.
7. Termination
You can stop using ogu and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting ogu.support@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
ogu is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or for the content that users send to one another through it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Continued use of ogu after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
